In the Fall of 2019, I did a month-long Residency at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont. I was greatly influenced by the environment surrounding this quaint New England town and made daily field notes on my walks to the studio. These studies grew into larger paintings as I explored the relationships between color, pattern and movement in natural world.
