Observations

In the Fall of 2020 I moved to Inverness, Ca. and was immediately struck by the deep change in the natural environment.  Living at the edge of the Point Reyes National Seashore I was surrounded by forests and wildlife and became more attuned to the patterns and cycles in nature. I spent time outdoors observing my new surroundings and recording moments and events that occurred throughout the season.  As I documented these observations, I began to explore the use of an abstracted language with shapes and symbols in order to relate my experience.
